If you use Apple's “Hide My Email” feature, we receive a private relay email address instead of your personal address, and we use that relay address to communicate with you.
    • Client Information: Details about your legal matter, case descriptions, and documents you upload when seeking legal help.
    • Attorney Information: Bar number, law school, years of experience, practice areas, office address, professional biography, and credentials.
    • Payment Information: Billing address and payment method details. Note: Credit card numbers are processed directly by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
    • Communications: Messages exchanged through our platform, consultation notes, and customer support inquiries.
    • Video Consultation Data: When you participate in video consultations, we may process video and audio streams. AI-generated meeting summaries and notes are created with your consent.

    2.2 Information Collected Automatically

    When you access our Service, we automatically collect certain information:

    • Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and mobile network information.
    • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, click patterns, and time spent on pages.
    • Location Data: General geographic location based on IP address (city/state level, not precise location).

    • Bar Association Data: We verify attorney credentials through state bar associations.
    • Payment Processors: Stripe provides us with transaction confirmations and limited payment information.

    • Creating and securing your account when you choose to sign in through a third-party provider (Google or Apple), and matching you with the correct existing account if you have one

    • Authentication providers (Google, Apple): When you choose social sign-in, solely to verify your identity and establish your account

    • Google Analytics: Website usage analytics
    • Resend: Transactional email delivery
    • OpenAI: AI-powered features such as meeting notes and case assessment (data is not used to train models)

    4.3 For Legal Reasons

    • Video consultations are encrypted in transit and AI meeting notes are generated locally and stored securely.
    • We implement strict access controls to ensure only authorized parties can access consultation records.
    • Attorneys are responsible for maintaining their own professional obligations regarding client confidentiality.

    We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

    • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
    • Access Controls: Role-based access controls limit who can access your data.
    • Secure Infrastructure: We host data with reputable cloud infrastructure providers and apply industry-standard safeguards.
    • Payment Security: Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider.
