Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Attorney Client Connect ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Nature of Service
Attorney Client Connect is a lawyer referral service that connects clients with licensed attorneys. Please understand the following:
- We do not provide legal advice. Only licensed attorneys can provide legal advice.
- We do not endorse any particular attorney or guarantee any outcome.
- Each attorney on our platform is an independent practitioner responsible for their own practice.
- Using our platform does not create an attorney-client relationship with Attorney Client Connect.
- Past results achieved by attorneys do not guarantee future outcomes.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. For Clients
As a client using our Service, you understand that:
- You are responsible for providing accurate information about your legal matter
- Consultation fees and payment terms are set by individual attorneys
- Any agreement you enter with an attorney is between you and that attorney
- You should verify an attorney's credentials independently
5. For Attorneys
As an attorney using our Service, you agree to:
- Maintain active bar membership and good standing in your jurisdiction(s)
- Comply with all applicable rules of professional conduct
- Provide accurate information about your qualifications and practice areas
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Not engage in any misleading advertising or make prohibited claims
6. Attorney Subscription Terms
For attorneys subscribing to our platform services:
6.1 Membership Plans & Free Trial
Attorney membership is offered in three plans: Basic (free), Pro ($99/month), and Elite ($299/month). The Basic plan is free to maintain. Paid plans (Pro and Elite) may include a limited free trial as offered at sign-up; where a trial applies, no membership charge is made during the trial period and billing begins when the trial ends. Membership fees are separate from the per-lead fees described in Section 7.
6.2 Automatic Renewal
At the end of your free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription. Your payment method on file will be automatically charged the applicable monthly fee for the membership plan you selected (Basic is free, Pro is $99/month, and Elite is $299/month) unless you cancel before the trial ends.
6.3 Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your billing date will be the same day each month as the day your trial ended. If your billing date falls on a day not contained in a given month, billing will occur on the last day of that month.
6.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the platform until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial refunds will be given for unused portions of a billing period.
6.5 Refund Policy
We offer a full refund within 7 days of any charge if you are not satisfied with our service. To request a refund, please contact our support team. Refunds after the 7-day period are at our sole discretion.
6.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days notice before any price increase takes effect.
6.7 Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your subscription if: (a) payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days; (b) you violate these Terms of Service; (c) you engage in fraudulent activity; or (d) we determine that your use of the platform violates professional conduct rules or could harm clients.
7. Payments and Fees
Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processors. In addition to any membership fee, attorneys pay a per-lead fee — set by Attorney Client Connect based on jurisdiction and practice area — only when they accept a consultation or lead. These fees are drawn from the attorney's Lead Wallet, which requires a valid payment method on file. Leads an attorney declines, and consultations the client does not attend, are not charged. Pro and Elite plans receive discounts and monthly lead credits as described on our pricing page. Clients are not charged any fee by Attorney Client Connect for using the platform. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
- Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to others
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attorney Client Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or any actions taken by attorneys you connect with through our platform.
10. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE QUALITY OF LEGAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY ATTORNEYS ON OUR PLATFORM.
11. Changes to Terms
